Waxanan xusuutaa, Duq waayeel ah, oo noo xajiiyay in dhulkani marka Guga la joogo aanu waligii arag meel kale oo xitaa dalka oo dhan la mid ah, oo qurux u dhiganta. Meel kasta oo an jalleecnaba waxa dullaamayay Deerada iyo cawsha oo ad mooddo sida adhiga la dhaqanayo. Waliba wakhtigaasi ma ahayn wakhtigii roobabka iyo barwaaqada, waa Adduunyo.

Sidaa daraadeed, Aax baan ka nidhi, abaarta lagu sheegay Lughaya. Ummadda reer Awdal dhammaantoodana waxan ugu baaqi lahayn inay aad iyo aad fiiro iyo ficil ugu yeeshaan abaarahan ku habsaday Lughaya. Guddoomiyaha Lughaya oo xaaladan foosha xun ka dayriyay oo nagu soo war galiayayna waxan leehay, hogaanka iyo hormuudka u qabo gurmadka Lughaya, oo haka daalin. Runtiina waxan kusoo baraarugnay waa qaylo dhaanta Guddoomiyaha oo lagu soo qoray Lughaya news.com: http://lughaya.com/94wararka.htm .

Waanu ka daalnay waanan ka deyriynay inaan maqalno: Madaxda Awdal, ma dhaafaan seeraha Boorama, Masuuliyiinta Awdal ma dhaafaan seeraha Boorama. Macalimiinta Awdal ma dhaafaan seeraha Boorama, Muruqa iyo maalka Awdal ma dhaafaan seeraha Boorama. Haddiise laga maarsan waayana ma moogaadaan Hargeysa, oo maalin walba way joogaan. Abaaraha Lughaya waa middii laysku baran lahaa, nin hadla iyo nin hugma, iyo nin hiiliya iyo nin hawshooda, nin hoo yidhaahda, intuba waa markii lays hubsan lahaa.

Suldaan Ka Tirsan Salaadiinta Awdal Oo Si Adag Uga Hadlay Xaaladda Gobolka Iyo Arrimo Kale Oo Uu Ku Tilmaamay Kuwa Aanu Weli Hore Ugu Arag Dalka

"Garan maayo wuxuu Rayaale qurba-joogga u sheegi doono, annagoo dalka joognay baa Fahmi La’"

"Dadweynaha gobolku waxay ku jiraan cunaqabatayn, waxa haysta rag Ooman oo ka yimi…”

Boorama, January 8, 2008 (Haatuf) – Mid ka mid ah salaadiinta Gobolka Awdal ayaa ka hadlay marxaladda gobolka Awdal iyo guud ahaanba dalku ka marayo dhinacyada dhaqaalaha, nolosha iyo arrimo kale oo uu ku tilmaamay inay yihiin kuwa u baahan in wax la iska weydiiyo.

Sida uu ku soo waramay Maxamed Cumar Sheekh, weriyaha Haatuf ee gobolka Awdal, Suldaan Muuse Cilmi Dugsiiye oo dhawaan waraysi arrimhaasi ka siiyey qaar ka mid ah warbaahinta kala duwan ee ku sugan Boorama ayaa waxa kale oo uu ka hadlay sida looga qaybqaadan karo taakuleynta Gobolada Bari iyo sida dhallinyaradii gobolkani uga baxday dalka.

Ugu horeyn Suldaan Muuse Cilmi Dugsiiye ayaa isagoo ka hadlaya xaaladda ka taagan gobolka waxa uu yidhi: “Weligay intaan joogay gobolka Awdal waa markii koowaad ee dad intaa le'egi qaxooti ahaan dalka uga baxaan, boqolkiiba afartan ayaa qaxooti ah, guryuhu waa faaruq. Iyadoo ay taasi jirtay ayaa haddana muddo saddex sannadood ah oo gobolkani cunaqabatayn uu ku jiray, waxna aan laga sheegin, lana iska adkaysananayey waxaa waxa soo baxday in xoolihii ay lahaayeen ee geel iyo adhiba lahaa ee ay u iibgeysan jireen Djibouti xeebahana mari jiray Geerisa loo joogsaday. Waanad ogeydeen in la yidhi xooluhu Carab bay u xidhan yihiin, cashuurtii waxay gaadhay neeftkii lix doolar ($6), sidaa darteed dadkan oo u dhashay nabad jacayl doonayana inay dalkooda wax u qabtaan, dagaalna iska diiday ayaa lagu kellifay inay xoolahoodii qori caaradii ku difaacdaan. Waa la oggaa in adhi boqolkun ka badan iyo boqollaal geel ah la iskugu keenay Geerisa, adhigaa waxa la yidhi neefkii lix doolar ku cashuura, haddii kale Berbera geeya oo carabkaa u geeya, isagoo carabkaasi Djibouti uun adhigaasi geynaya, qisadaa waxaanu u aragnay nin Oodweyne jooga ayaa shilin ugu hadhaye u geeya. Neefka Lawyacaddo laga soo celiyey ee la yidhi Berbera geeya, macnaheedu waa Oodweyne ku celiya, xoolaha aan waxba galabsan ee harraadka dhulka intaa le’eg lagu sii marinayo ee la soo lugaysiinayo waa wax laga naxo. Dadkaasi waxay haysteen way bixiyeen, maadaama lagu khasbay, waxana ka dambaysay bishii ramadaan badeecado lagala soo degay Djibouti taasi markay bilaabantayna, rag oomanbaa Bari ka yimi oo horjoogsaday. Ragaasina waa in laga soo gaadhaa gobolka. Dawladduu weligeedba way hortaagan tahay waxa ka soo degeya Djibouti. Maamulkii gobolka ee arrimahan wax ka qaban lahaana wuxuu noo sheegay inaanu awood u lahayn wax ka qabashada arrimahaasi, waxaanse ummadda u sheegayaa in arrimahan wax laga qabto.”

Suldaanku waxa kale oo uu sheegay in aanay xukuumaddu ogolayn xoriyatul-qawl ka hirgala gobolka Awdal, waxaanu isagoo arrintaas ka hadlaya yidhi: “Dhinaca kale gobolkan Awdal lama oggola xorriyatal qawlka, ragiinnaa i horfadhiya [weriyeyaasha] mid aan la xadhini kuma jiro, waxayna ku xidhmeen hawshooda. Waana nasiib-darro in maanta reer Awdal cawdaan iyagoo haysta hoggaankii dalka, hase yeeshee waa markii koowaad, waana kii kari lahaa ama u abuuri lahaa shaqooyin.”

Mar uu ka hadlayay Suldaanku arrinta taakulada ee xoolaha dadweynaha gobolka lagaga ururinayo wuxuu yidhi: “Waxaa la leeyahay xoolo haloo ururiyo, magaca dawladeed meel ay ku qoran tahay lama hayee maxaa xoolo nalagaga rabaa?”

Suldaan Muuse Cilmi Dugsiiye waxa kale oo uu ka hadlay safarka Madaxweynaha iyo kulanka la filayo inuu la yeesho qurba-jooga gobolka iyo guud ahaan Somaliland, iyo waxyaabaha uu Madaxweynuhu u sheegi doono qurba jooga, waxaanu yidhi: “Annagoo dalka joogna ayaanu madaxweynaha waxba u sheegi kari weynay, haddii uu maanta debedda ugu tegeyna [Qurba-jooga] dee waxa uu u sheegayo ma garanayo, boqolkiiba saddex ayaa jooga, wuxuna ku odhan doonaa waa la fiican yahay, iyaguna way soo dhaweyn doonaan uun. Annaga iyo kuwaasina [Qurba-jooga] waanu iskuwada xidhannnahay, laakiin annagii dalka joognay baa fahmi la', hadday tahay madax-dhaqameedyo iyo haddii aanu reer Boorama nahayba, waanad arkaysaan in wakhtigii uu dalka xukumayey dalkii xaalufay oo laga baxay.”

Ugu dambayntii Suldaan Muuse waxa uu sheegay inay diyaar u yihiin inay la shaqeeyaan Badhasaabka gobolka Awdal, waxaanu yidhi: “Badhsaabka wax badan oo uu na faray waa loo qabtay, imikana diyaarbaan u ahayn laakiin abaar baa jirta oo waxba uma qaban karro."

U.S. Engagement in Ethiopia and Somalia

f people are arrogant and shallow, we have the duty tell them that they are arrogant and shallow; otherwise they will continue bullying us. "Ms Lahra Smith, I personally request you to leave my country alone. No one is entitled to kill people. I personally have opposed the Ethiopian mission in Somalia from the very beginning due to the fact it did not make any sense to me to go into Somalia instead of going to Asmara."

Shabia has been arming and training the Islamic Court and countless rebels from Ethiopia. It has been Shabia which has been bombing Ethiopian cities, hotels and taxis all over country. It has been Shabia which has promised to dismantle Ethiopia. However Shabia has an endorsement from the honorable Prime Minister of Ethiopia to kill Ethiopians.

The Islamic Courts never did what Shabia has done to Ethiopians. They only made an empty talk show that they will invade Ethiopia. Though they boasted to invade Ethiopia, they did not have the capacity to invade Ethiopia without the help of Shabia. If there is no mystery between the Prime Minister of Ethiopia and Shabia, the right thing to do was to deal with Shabia the real enemy of Ethiopia once for all. Ethiopians have been begging the Prime Minister to do something about Shabia.

Nonetheless, Prime Minister Meles Zenawi has rejected the pleas of the plea to deal with Shabia. He insisted the Islamic Court was a real threat to Ethiopia. Ethiopians opposed the move to Somalia. Now Ethiopia has made good enemy for itself for eternity and Shabia has got an eternal partner. Now Ethiopians are immersed in war that will leave Somalis bitter for eternity against Ethiopia.

So it is Lahra Smith condemns Ethiopian government for going to Somalia and accuses Ethiopian government for human right abuses. What Lahra Smith has completely failed to see is the human right abuse at her own back yard. Americans have been killing civilians since the time they occupied Iraq while looting their resources too. For the Iraqis that is not a blessing. It is beyond human rights abuse, it is inhumanity. Nevertheless, Lahra Smith has blind eyes to see what her country has been doing to the Iraqis and she has a deaf ear not to hear what has been happening to the Iraqis. She has no a sense of humanity to the Iraqis, but she has a sense of humanity to Somalis and Ethiopians. She is telling us without any shame that Americans are the stewards of human rights.

Are Iraqis not human beings? Don’t they deserve freedom and reverence of life? Are Ethiopians and Somalis better human than the Iraqis? What can make American leaders like Lahra Smith humanitarians? Does it matter whether a human being is killed by an American or Ethiopian?

Lahra Smith is jealous of Ethiopian regional hegemony, but she is not critical of her country’s global hegemony. Does Lahra Smith think we are stupid and have no means to apply our brains?

Lahra Smith calls Ethiopians shortsighted for opposing
Ethiopia to be neo-colonized. Lahra Smith, what qualifies you to govern Ethiopia? Do you know Ethiopia is as mighty as America? Do you believe it?

It is our ancestors who defeated colonizers with machetes, picks, axes. We do not need guided missiles and unmanned satellites and Mig jets to protect ourselves. We do not value ourselves and our strengths by money. Our humanity and strength is measured by who we are and by our faith and determination.

Though you have an inspiration to colonize Ethiopia, it will remain a dream in your life. If you ever do that we will draft a law in Addis Ababa to rule America. Then it will be tit for tat.

If you tell us we are shortsighted for opposing megalomaniac adventure to colonize Ethiopia. We must tell you that you are not only shortsighted, but you totally blind and deaf.

If you want to clean our house, you need to clean your house first. It does not make any sense cleaning somebody's house while one’s own house is dirty and filthy. We are not double minded and doubled hearted. We know an alliance with you does not hold water due to the fact you actually do not care about humanity except about your earthly interest. It has been said that it is the Americans who creates monsters on this planet. Saddam was created by America, Bin Laden was created by America, Mobutu Sese Seko and many other dictators on the planet were created by America. Even Issayas Afeworki of Eritrea has been created by the Americans. It was them who funded Issayas Afeworki for 30 years immersing the same people in an endless bloodshed.

It is the Americans who landlocked my country and Lahra Smith now to add an insult to injury, is telling me she wants a law to govern Ethiopia from Washington. The day you do that I will join Bin Laden against your country.

In conclusion, you need to take out the beam in your own eye before you contemplate taking out the speck in my eye. Then I will join you if you talk about human rights. Otherwise it does not make any sense at all.

Somali parliament endorses new cabinet

BAIDOA, Somalia (AFP) — The Somali parliament on Thursday approved a new downsized cabinet formed last week in an effort to steer the war-wracked country out of turmoil.

The 15 ministers were overwhelmingly endorsed, with only five of the 230 sitting members rejecting the appointments and two abstaining.

"I very much appreciate the acceptance of my new government and I hope we can together face the difficulty in our country," Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein told the lawmakers in the provincial town of Baidoa.

Three more ministers remain to be confirmed to bring to 18 the final number of ministers in the new cabinet.

A previous government that was announced in November included almost twice as many ministers.

Somalia's fractious political scene has struggled to agree on a cabinet following the October resignation from the premiership of Ali Mohamed Gedi.

In recent months, Somalia has been rocked by daily violence, mainly in Mogadishu, between Ethiopian-backed government forces and the remnants of an Islamist militia that briefly controlled parts of the country.

CJTF-HOA personnel donate school supplies to Djibouti School

DJIBOUTI - Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa personnel took time out of their busy schedules to donate school supplies and apparel to Horsed Private School of English Jan. 7.The 35 boxes were sent by Living Waters Foursquare Church in Mooresville, N.C. to Army Staff Sgt. Rex Hipp, 1132nd Engineering Detachment well drilling team. Hipp is a member of their congregation who is currently wrapping up a one-year deployment in Djibouti, Africa.

The boxes were filled with backpacks, books, pencils, paper, shoes and clothes. "The 75 church members raised $1,500 so they could buy school supplies and clothing that would benefit the children of Djibouti," said Hipp.Having his church make such a thoughtful gesture allows the 1132nd well drillers to make one last impact before they redeploy back to Mooresville in mid-January."For the past year, when we've drilled and repaired wells we've given out flip flops and school supplies to villages near some of our well sites as another way to help the Djibouti people," said Hipp.

"Now that we're wrapping up our deployment, it was nice to coordinate with the CJTF-HOA Chaplains office and the school director to donate items that will improve the students' quality of life in a big way," said Hipp.U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Derico Cooper, CJ-6 Tactical Networking, was on hand to deliver the supplies and see first hand just how grateful the school staff was for the gifts."Their standard of living and educational facilities are far different than what we have in the states, so anything we can do to help them out is greatly appreciated," said Cooper.Hassan Mahamed, Horsed Private School of English teacher, appreciates everything the U.S. military does for his school."We appreciate everything the U.S. military does for us because a lot of the families cannot afford to buy these items, which prevents students from having the proper items for school," said Mahamed. "It's nice to know that their friends stateside wanted to do something nice for our students here.

"And for Chief Religious Programs Specialist Wayne George, CJTF-HOA Religious Ministries Department, donations like these represent the true spirit of America and what it truly means to do something nice for people they'll never meet."I have observed thousands of charitable items donated by caring Americans who expect nothing in return," said George. "They have done it in silence without expectations of recognition because it's not about the cost, but the smiles it will bring to the faces of the children half a world away."

Ship piracy up, Somali and Nigerian waters worsen

LONDON, Jan 9 (Reuters) - Acts of ocean piracy rose 10 percent in 2007, the first increase for three years, with waters off Nigeria and Somalia topping a list of the world's most dangerous, a ship piracy watchdog said on Wednesday.

The International Maritime Bureau (IMB) said in its yearly report that attacks globally on shipping rose to 263 from 239 in 2006.

"The significant increase in the numbers can be directly attributed to the increase in incidents in Nigeria and Somalia," IMB Director Pottengal Mukundan said.

"These two countries account for 42 and 31 of the 2007 figures respectively, compared with 12 and 10 attacks in 2006," he said in a statement.

Merchant shipping carries more than 90 percent of the world's traded goods by volume.
The IMB said armed attacks on merchant ships had increased, with well-armed robbers showing no hesitation in assaulting and injuring crew.

Guns were the weapons of choice in 72 attacks -- an increase of 35 percent in 2007, it said, citing 64 crew members assaulted and injured last year compared with 17 in 2006.
The IMB said a total of 18 vessels were hijacked in 2007 compared with 14 in 2006, while 292 crew members were taken hostage compared with 188 in 2006. Five crew were killed with three still reported as missing.

It said most of the violent attacks occured off the coast of Somalia, which has suffered from lawlessness since warlords overthrew dictator Mohammed Siad Barre in 1991.
In Somalia, which saw the highest number of hostages taken, 154 in 11 hijackings, the IMB said the intervention of the United Nations and international naval forces might be the only way forward in controlling the scourge.

Mukundan said statistics showed the majority of attacks in Nigeria were concentrated in a couple of hotspots.

Out of 35 vessels boarded in Nigeria, 25 attacks occurred in Lagos, while attacks and kidnappings in the Delta region were excused by the perpetrators as politically-motivated.
On a positive note, the IMB said Indonesia -- a former piracy hotspot -- had seen a continued downturn in attacks. It also praised authorities in Bangladesh for reducing incidents to 15 from 47 in 2006. (Reporting by Stefano Ambrogi, editing by Anthony Barker)

Ethiopia - New Book : The Train to Djibouti

Ethiopia - New Book : The Train to DjiboutiLara Kassa is a writer living in London and published a new book about Ethiopia entitled "The train to Djibouti". The following is an interview the author had with Werkama, an Ethiopian magazine published in United Kingdom.

But don't be put off by the title - the book has almost nothing to do with either a train or Djibouti. It is in fact a story of adventure - an intriguing romp through Addis Ababa and various other Ethiopian locations, including Awasa, Wondegenet and Ambo as the determined protagonists try to untangle the mystery of a missing young man and a pair of foreigners' search for legendary treasure. This novel could be described as an "Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark" story for grown-ups.The novel is crammed with vivid descriptions of landscapes and characters that are instantly recognizable to anyone familiar with Ethiopia. This, coupled with the cleverly crafted plot, which contains many interesting Biblical and historical references, make "The Train to Djibouti" a truly compelling story. The Author, Italian-born Lara Kassa, is herself married to an Ethiopian and it is clear from the playful humor, sincere kindness and great modesty of the book's Ethiopian characters that she is a great admirer Ethiopia's remarkable culture. Werkama caught up with Lara Kassa in London to ask her more about her book.

Werkama: Why did you choose the title "The Train to Djibouti"?

Lara: When I visited Ethiopia I became very fascinated by this train that I knew existed but I never seemed to actually see passing, so I used it as a symbol of the dreams and fantasies that the various characters in the book have about their lives. A main theme of the book - apart from reflecting the people and traditions of Ethiopia - is how many people dream of a different life, when sometimes it is good to appreciate the life you have. What we have is good most of the time and there are so many positive things about Ethiopia, so although there are problems there, there are problems in every country - we all struggle with life, but there is also a lot to appreciate.

Werkama: How long did it take to write the book?Lara: I started jotting down the main ideas when I came back from Ethiopia in mid-2004. Then I left it for a while until I had organised the story in my mind and then I kept writing and putting all the pieces together.
Werkama: What inspired you to write it?Lara: I have always been interested in Ethiopian history and culture but the main inspiration was when I first saw Ethiopia in 2004 and I found the people and the way of life really fascinating - completely different to the West.
Werkama: In what way is Ethiopia different?Lara: The strong social culture and sense of time there - somehow time seems to pass more slowly whereas here there never seems to be enough time for anything! So it feels like a more relaxed way of life in Ethiopia.

Werkama: How do you find the Ethiopian people?Lara: From the first time I met Ethiopians - even over here, but in Ethiopia it is stronger, I was so surprised by the hospitality they showed to me and other 'fereng' and to each other. It is really striking - I have travelled quite a bit and I can say that I have never met such hospitable people in my life. Sometimes it feels like they would give you their heart! It showed me how Ethiopia can teach the rest of the world a lot about kindness and respect.

Werkama: As an Italian, do you see any similarities between the two cultures?Lara: Very much so, as I am always remarking to my husband; the family values are especially similar - for Italians the family is one of the most important things, the bonds are very close and I notice the same with Ethiopians. And also the general social interaction is similar too, talking to neighbours and others instead of ignoring them. Even simple things like coffee - in Italy, like Ethiopia, drinking coffee is about being together, talking and sharing thoughts, not just drinking a cup of coffee in Starbucks.

Werkama: Which parts of Ethiopia have you visited?Lara: I know Addis Abeba quite well - my husband is from there and also I went south to Arba Minch, Awasa, Debrezeit - all the places described in the book. I have been to the north as well - wonderful places there too; Axum, Lalibela, Lake Tana and the amazing Tis Abay. In my next book I will focus more on these areas.

Werkama: Where did you do your research?Lara: Although I have been to Ethiopia several times, I did most of my research in London libraries, but all of the descriptions of places and people came from my own experiences.

Werkama: How did it feel to complete the novel?Lara: It was extremely satisfying for me to accomplish this, because writing has always been one of my favourite things; in Italy I worked as a part-time journalist for a while where I sometimes had to write what the editor told me to write. One day I had an argument with him and he told me, "the day you write your own book you can write whatever you like" - and now I have!

Werkama: Would you like to see the book made into a film one day?Lara: Yes - I know that Ethiopia has an emerging film industry and I went to the cinema one time; I enjoyed the movie and the acting was very good.

Werkama: Do you find that Ethiopia is represented accurately by the media?Lara: No, not at all. Most reportage about Ethiopia is negative: wars, famine, poverty - which nobody denies do exist, but it's wrong to give only this impression to the rest of the world. People think it is a desert but the part of Ethiopia that I mainly saw was incredibly green and fertile. So it is a distorted image that people are seeing and this was another motivation for me to write the book.
Werkama: How do you think Ethiopians can tackle poverty?Lara: It is obviously not simple, but I wish that the Ethiopian government and people could develop ways of keeping the most talented and clever people in the country, instead of them just going abroad as soon as they finish University. I understand that they want to experience new things and earn money which is good, but I'm sure that it would really help the country to progress if they used their potential at home instead of what is known as 'brain-drain'.

Werkama: What advice would you give to Ethiopian writers?Lara: I know that there are many Ethiopian writers, and I hope that they will explore and learn more about their own country so that they can teach their fellow countrymen and the rest of the world what Ethiopia really is, because everyone really needs to know about these things. And in fact I advise all Ethiopians who have the means to travel around Ethiopia - I know it is not a strong part of the culture, but the last time I went there I met a few Ethiopians who were living in other parts of the world, but had taken the trip to learn more about their country and when they saw how beautiful and amazing it was, they were really happy with their decision.

The Delta Company 1/294th Infantry (light) Soldiers, taught the 65 Djiboutian soldiers from the Regiment Inter-Army Obock, who provide security forces for the town of Obock.

The training, which consists of varied topics like traffic control points, convoy operations and close quarter combat, called for some long days of training.“It was a motivated group, they were very willing to learn and work long hours,” said SGT Dino Cruz, who taught guard force to the soldiers. “They never wanted to quit. It made the training so easy for us.”

1LT Noel Espino, officer in charge for the training, observed how much of an impact the training had on the RIAO soldiers.“During the training we see the progress they make, from having very little knowledge, to being able to respond appropriately to each situation,” said 1LT Espino. “It makes me feel very proud that we are contributing to their growth and development.”A RIAO soldier concurred with 1LT Espino’s sentiments.

“Before we were lost and didn’t know how to fight or respond to the enemy, but today, after we have learned many things, we are really proud,” said SGT Hussein Abdi Guelleh, with the Regiment Inter-Army Obock. The graduating soldiers and Delta Company instructors welcomed MG Donald J. Goldhorn, adjutant general, Guam National Guard as a guest speaker for the graduation ceremony.

“Each and every Guam National Guard soldier has made significant contributions to the CJTF-HOA mission objective,” said MG Goldhorn. “All of the soldiers here today are an important part of this success as well.” BG Osman Nour Soubagleh, Regiment Inter-Army Obock also attended the graduation ceremony and expressed his gratitude to the American Soldiers responsible for training the Djiboutian soldiers.

“I would like to add that we are very pleased to be your partner and are ready to fight against terrorism in our territory and beyond for the interest of coalition. Thank you for what you have done for Djibouti.”The graduation ceremony ended with a traditional celebratory dance performed by all of the Djiboutian graduates.

“The future of success is most dependent on the relationships we build with one another,” said MG Goldhorn. “All of us who wear a uniform are not only soldiers; we are diplomats as well, diplomats of our respective countries.”Got a story to tell? Somalia: President Says His Health is Fine

Somalia's interim president, Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed, told a local radio station that his health is fine in response to widespread reports of his deteriorating health.

"My health condition is fine," President Yusuf told Radio Galkayo, a Puntland-based independent FM station. "I rushed out [of London] before because of the new Cabinet and when it was finished, I returned for a scheduled medical appointment."

GA_googleFillSlot("AllAfrica_Story_Inset");

He dismissed rumors of his deteriorating health, saying: "Don't listen to the stuff they say and when you need to know something, contact me."

The Somali president was asked a question whether or not he met with Dahir Riyale Kahin, the leader of the breakaway Somali region of Somaliland, in the country's northwest, during a shared plane ride to London.

While acknowledging the shared plane ride, President Yusuf dismissed reports that he spoke directly with Mr. Riyale. He said the problem between the separatist region of Somaliland and the semiautonomous state of Puntland, in the country's northeast, and "not so easy" as to discuss it during a flight.

Yusuf said he will be resting in London for roughly three weeks.

The Somali leader said it is "too early" to discuss his candidacy for the presidency in 2009. Presidential elections are scheduled to be held across the country next year when the interim government's mandate expires.

"I think I am a man who fixed many things and I am fully confident [in myself]," said President Yusuf in response to question that he might not be elected because many Somalis believe he destroyed the country.

Yusuf's former Prime Minister, Prof. Ali Mohamed Gedi, announced last week that he will run for Somali president next year, making him the first candidate to present himself for the position.

Sannadka Cusub iyo Sirta Ku Qarsoon: Labo Kala Roori, RABBI waa is Gaadhsiiyaa.

Waxyaabaha sannadkani cusub durba la bilaabmay ee lagu xusuusan doonno waxa ka mid ah:

(1) Doorashada KENYA.

Doorashadii Kenya waxay noqotay mid digniin ugu filan Somaliland , Afrika iyo Caalam weynahaba. Waxayna muujisay in nabad galyo kasta oo lagu faano iyo diimuqraadiyad kasta oo la sheegto, Afrika ay tahay uun Afrika. Doorasho xalaal ahi haddii aanay dhici karina inuu dal kasta oo Afrikaan ahi afka u dhici doono.

Dadkii reer Kenya ayaynu aragnay oo dhawr cisho ka hor kuyuu ugu jiray inay codeeyaan. Hadana waxaynu aragnay iyagii oo isla dhawr cisho dabadeed, kuyuu ugu jira cunto iyo dhar loo qaybinayo, kuna noqday qoxooti dalkoodii Hooyo.

Taasina waxay digniinta ugu weyn si gaar ah ugu tahay Somaliland, oo diimuqraadiyadeeda, dawladnimadeeda iyo dalnimadeeduba aad iyo aad uga itaal yaryahay midkan KENYA . Durbana waxa muuqda saan-saan lagu garanayo in dib looga guranayo doorasho ka dhacda Somaliland . Danbaana ugu jirta inay dib u dhigaan haddii aanay doorasho daacad iyo xalaal ah sugi karaynin, dalkana waa u badbaado. Waana digniinta iyo sirta sannadka cusub.

(2). Rayaale iyo Yuusuf oo isku hal diyaarad wada raacay.

Qaybatani, waxaynu ku eegaynaa sirta Rabbaaniga ah ee ka danbaysa labadii madaxweyne, Daahir iyo Cabdilaahi, ee Ummadda Soomaliyeed kala jiidanayay mudada dheer, oo labadoodiiba isku diyaarad layskugu keenay, isku dalna ku wada degay, isku dalna kasoo wada raacay.

Sirta halkan ku jirti waxay tahay in Soomaali si kastooy u kala roorto ama u kala go¢dana ay maruun kulmi doonto iskuna iman doonto. Waa Labo Kala Roori, Rabbi waa is gaadhsiiyaa. Halhayskaasina waa mid aad looga yaqaano Awdal.

Waxa lagu andacoonayaa inay baahi labada madaxweyne kulmisay oo duruuftu qasab ka dhigtay inay isku diyaarad soo wada raacaan oo isku hal qol oo diyaaradaasi ah soo wada fadhiistaan. Maxayse tahay baahidaasi; ma mid caafimaadbaa?; ma mid dhaqaalaa?; ma mid siyaasadeedbaa?; maxay tahay?.

Aniga waxay ila tahay, mar haddiiba ay dal shisheeye kasoo wada raaceen diyaarad shisheeye, kuna soo wada dageen dal shisheeye. Inay baahidaasi isku keentay, ay tahay mid ka tarjumaysaa sida Soomaali gacan shisheeye ugu jirto, uguna baahantahay gacan Soomaaliyeed oo isku geysa.

Maalmihii u danbaysay labada madaxweynaba way isku buutaynayeen, oo waxay iskugu faanayeen muruq militari inuu midba midka kale ku muquunin doono. Hadana midkoodna dalkiisa kama soo raacin diyaarad dalkiisa laga leeyahay, midkoodna dalkiisa si toos ah ugama soo duulin. Waliba waxa laga yaabaa, oo intaas u dheer, inay labadaba diyaaradda kusoo raaceen muxawil oo lacagtiiba lagu leeyahay.

Isma itaal dhaamaan, ismana arrin dhaamaan, oo hadday inuun wax is dheer yihiin, iskumay dhiibeen Amxaaro, karaamadana iskama qaadeen. Si kastooy iskugu dayeen inay kala rooraana, dee waa kuwaas isku soo rooray, ee isku meel wada kuududsaday, waana sirta sannadka cusub ee sidaas ula socda.

Su¢aasha xiisaha badanina ee an dadweynaha uga tagaynina waxay tahay; toloow maxay is weydiiyeen markii ay ku kulmeen qolka fadhiga diyaaradda xabashida, ee xabashina kala ilaalinaysay?.

Ma waxay is weydiiyeen sidan:

Daahir: C/Laahiyoow Nabad ma sheegtay?

C/Laahi: Daahiroow Af- xabashi igula hadal, waa laynoo jeedaaye?

Mise waxay is weydiiyeen wax kale?. Maxay u malaynayaan Akhristayaashu, muxuuse farshaxanka ugu weyn ummadda Somaliyed, AMIIN CAAMIR, kasoo sawiri doonnaa wacdaraha sannadkan ee mucjisada badan gaar ahaan Daahir iyo Cabdilaahi oo isku diyaarad lagu wada sido?.

Nabad iyo Caano

Ma BARI baa loo Gurmanayaa, Mise UDUBta Bokhokhday?.

Waxyaabihii iigu amakaaga iyo qosolka (qosol-gariir) badnaa sanadka lasoo dhaafay, waxa ka mid ahaa, inaan maqlo Boorama oo u tafo xaydatay ololaha lagu sheegay gurmadka iyo taakulaynta gobolada BARI . Hadda waa Boorama oo hareeraheedu yihiin baylah, oo baahi iyo gaajo iyo darxumana carruuro ugu dhimanayaan degaanada ay xukunto qaarkood. Inay dhexdeeda isku grumatana looga geeyay shuhuura, inay meel shishe u boodana looga dhigay biyo dareeri.

Dhawaan waxan dhegaystay, Wasiirka Xidhiidhka xidhxidhayaasha Geela Somaliland, mudane Cabdi Xasani Buuni oo shir u qabtay reer Boorama ku saabsan taakulaynta iyo gurmadka gobolada Bari. Wasiir buuni wuxu ku yidhi reer Boorama, waxan idinka rabnaa arrimahan soo socda:

  1. xoolo nool-nool oo ciidanka gaajaysan ee dagaalka ku jiraayi, nolosha ku siisiibaan. Didhidhiq kuye. !
  2. Lacag cas-cas oo ciidanka looga dhigo darajo oo garbaha loogu taxo sida xiddigaha.
  3. Lacag cad-cad oo ciidanka loogu iibiyo hub casri ah oo meel dheer wax ka dila iyo dirays aanay xabaduba mari karin.

Intaasi markii uu Wasiirka xidhxidhayaashu gundhiga hadalka ka dhigay, waxu kale oo raacshay haddidaad (threat) oo wuxu yidhi:

“Reer Hargeysaba xoog iyo xeelad UDUBaysan ayaan ugu hanjabnay anagoo wadana sawaariikh iyo askar indho cas-cas, oo waxanu ku nidhi, handtidiinu waa hanti Qaran, oo waan idinkala wareegaynaa. Sidaasi ayayna iyagoo qadhqadhaya qaadhaanka ku soo dhiibeen.

Idinkuna reer Awdaloow, haddii ganacsatadiinu dhiibi waayaan qaadhaanka, waxan idin dul keenaynaa diyaarado iyo dubaabado iyo labaatan wasiir iyo askartoodii oo uu wato Abaanduulaha Madaxweyne xigeenka dalku. Sidaa daraadeed, kolleyba guutadaasi M/xigeenku wato way idiin imanayaane, bakhaarada soo faaruqiya, Geela soo xidh-xidha, oo soo xaraasha, gabanadiina qadiya, waliba gacmahana cirka u taaga uu ku dhawaaqa: "Awdaltay ka bannaanka..... xoolahay ka bannaanka.....Wasiirkeen ka Buunigeenna..iwm..iwm”.

Wasiirka xidhiidhka xidhxidhayaasha Geelu hadalkiisa ka sokow, ayaa hadana waxan dhagaystay sidii dadkii reer Boorama ee goobta shirkaasi lagu macsuumay u hadleen. Anigoon qof-qof rabin inaan u sheego ama u qaadaa-dhigo, waxa iiga bidhaamay hadaladoodii marka laysku soo wada xooriyo, inay dhammaan cabsi gashay oo diyaar u yihiin inay xoolahooda dhiibaan si ay naftooda ugu badbaadiyaa ugana nabad galaan budhka UDUBta Bokhokhday oo wada bashaaqin lahaa.

Aynu usoo noqono muhiimaddii qoraalkane, waxa xusid mudan in lays weydiiyo ujeedada loo galayo gurmadka iyo taakulayntu waxa ay yihiin, su’aalo badan ayaana halkaas kasoo bixi kara oo ay ka mid yihiin:

  • Ma Runbaa oo waxa loo gurmanayaa gobolada bari , gaar ahaan laas caanood mise waa Been?.
  • Ma Garaadadii iyo suldaanadii reer Laascaanood ayaa u yimidday Ugaasyadii iyo suldaanadii reer Awdal/Hargeysa/Burco, iwm oo gargaar weydiistay?
  • Mise waxba reer LaasCaanood ma weydiisane, waxay soo wakiisheen xukumada UDUB?
  • Hadaladii Wasiirka ee shirka gurmadka, maku jireen haba yaraatee wax ku saabsan in dad baro kacay lagu caawinayo qaadhaanka, oo dhar iyo cunto loogu gadayo iyo in reer Laascaanood soo wakiisheen?
  • Haddii lagu caawinayo ciidanka, dee dawladdii halkaasi geysay markii horaba miyay weyday awood kale oo ay ku ilaashato ciidankeeda oo an ahayn qaadhaan urursi qawad iyo quudhsi ku jiro, oo reero magacooda lagu qadhaabto.
  • Qaadhaanku ma tabarucbaa, qofba wixii taagtiisa ah ee uu rabo bixiyo amaba bixin waayo, mise waa qasab iyo qab-qab wax kaga qaad ah?
  • Xaqiiqdii ma BARI ayaa loo gurmanayaa, Mise UDUB baa gabnoowday oo naaskii godol ka weyday, gaawahana usoo qaadatay in iyada loo gurmado bal si doorashada dalka aanay ugu gaagixin ?

Jawaabaha naga soo gaadha su’aalahaasi waxaynu ku gorfaynni doonnaa qaybta labaad ee maqaalkan. Ilaa iyo inta aynu dib danbe u kulmi doonnana, waxan idinkaga tegaynaa sidaa iyo Nabad iyo Caano.
